· To cancel (even if you’ve already said yes)
You have permission:
· To ask to be held (if that’s what you need)
· To just focus on the basics for now
· To go wherever your heart feels calm
· To not keep up with everything online
You have permission:
· To not pluck your facial hair
· To not show up at your “best”
· To not keep everyone else happy
· To not know what comes next
Whatever permission you need to give yourself in order to feel okay – right now, exactly where you are, as you are – give yourself that permission. None of us have figured it all out. So you might as well give yourself a break.
