Ooh I’d love to know what the course is. I’ve been thinking about doing something similar.
My Christmas was really lovely. We went to my mums with our 8 year old and had a quiet one then back up to London and had another Christmas in our little living room. Also realised you’re 10 years younger than me but inspire me so much. 🥰
Ofc! The course I'm doing is a Level 2 Exercise to Music which covers you to lead various kinds of group movement 🤗 I really enjoyed the practical side of it! The anatomy & physiology coursework is a bit less thrilling 😅
Awh yay, so glad you had two lovely celebrations! Love to you and yours 😘💜
It’s so exciting to read about all of your lovely accomplishments and fancy outings…I always get happy tingles for you!! 🥰 also super glad your holidays were full of love and fun and I hope this new year brings you all the good vibes you can handle, even if there happen to be some not so good ones as well because let’s face it, that’s life 🤷♀️ as long as we are gentle and kind to ourselves in those “down” moments, we’ll be ok 🙂 Hugs to you!! ❤️❤️
Owh Kristen what a beautiful comment, thank you!! I wish the very same for you, and absolutely we can both do the being kind to ourselves part, or keep practicing it anyway 😘💜
So happy to read of all your holiday joy, despite the mixed bag of emotions that I’m sure it’s been for us all. My holiday went without incident which is saying quite something. I’ve been quite anxious about my aging parents lately but I’m trying to slow down and be as you said, self-compassionate. That may be the focus for the year here as well. xoxo
A holiday season without incident is definitely a success! Good job 😘 and oof I hear that, wishing you lots of moments in the now and lots of that self-compassion 💜💜
Congrats on the Most Inspiring Threader award, Megan! Yay!
Sorry to hear about the cold. I had the same thing and it stuck around. I took 4 covid tests! LOL Negative every time. And that damned cough stuck around for a month.
Christmas couldn’t have been better. No drama! Grateful for that.
Happy early birthday to you, brilliant Aquarius! Let the sunshine in, the sunshine in, open up your heart and let it shine on in >>See The Age of Aquarius on YouTube 😉
My parents made Christmas magical for me admist all we have going on and I’m so grateful for that! I’m excited for the New Year! I’ll be moving for university in the summer. My family and I are dealing with some financial stresses that has been hard for many months now but we’re trying to stay strong!
Hope everyone’s well and taking time for moments of peace! I’ve been rewatching Greys Anatomy and coloring. I did a lot of coloring last year and it brings me so much joy!
LOVE that you decided to work on getting certified for a joyful movement class. I’m sure however you choose to teach, your students will be blessed! I too cackled about Gemma’s gifts, and also could just hear her delighted giggles in my head :D I’m easing my way into the new year. Doing a big cross-states move, and currently stuck halfway to my new home because of both weather and driving anxiety, but I’ll get there eventually! Interested to see what the new year brings, but it can wait and let me catch my breath first ;) Lots of love to you and yours. Thanks for another delightful update!
I’m glad you’re still here with us, Heather ❤️ I am wishing you perseverance, grace, and an abundance of small joys and triumphs as you journey toward a beautiful life for yourself. Are you familiar with Martha Beck’s work? She has been a real source of wisdom and encouragement for me in how to step outside the “norms” of society, and into a life you actually want to live. My two favorite books of hers are “Steering by Starlight” and “The Way of Integrity”. She also has a podcast she does with one of her partners that’s called “BeWildered.” Sending you all the best!

A and P is stultifying 🤣 (unless it comes with armfuls of fun and appreciation… have you seen the A and P colouring books?)
Awesome! Thanks so much x
Megan’s younger than one of my kids, but inspires me huuuugely ❤️❤️❤️❤️
The Holiday, all day long!

Hey gorgeous girl, so so so glad you’re being easy on yourself at this time of year (and hopefully every other time too 😃)
Sooo farrrr I’m having the best January… have put down my little suitcase of worthlessness which has made my whole internal world shift on its axis
And new year intention… to appreciate connection with others when it happens, and preserve my energy beautifully when it doesn’t
Sending love to all in this wholesome little emaily corner ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
