I once met an older man in a job I had just started in Philadelphia. He asked if I was "right out of college" (I was 32 with 11 years experience at that point!) or if this was my "first television job." I tactfully put him in his place and he treated me with complete respect from that day on. Yep, fucking enjoy it when you prove them wrong. :)
How do you always know what I need to hear? I've been pondering this. How much time I wasted thinking I needed to prove people wrong. But I just needed to live my life and live as I want and it would have proven it anyway and I have. Less stress. ❤
