You don’t owe anyone stagnation – just staying the same, just being who you always were because it’s more comfortable for them. The fact that you get to evolve and you get to meet new versions of yourself – holy shit that’s one of the most exciting things about being a human! You don’t even know who you’re gonna become yet, who you’re gonna grow into! I remember when I was a teenager and people used to be like “ugh, you’ve changed” and say it as if it was such a bad thing. But yeah, I’ve changed! Thank fuck! I have learned, I have grown – that can be a beautiful thing. You don’t owe anyone staying a version of you that doesn’t fit anymore.
